Welcome to CHVRA

Coney Hall is a village in the borough of Bromley. This is the website for our Residents’ Association. The association (called CHVRA for short) was formed in 1938. We’re non-political and run on a voluntary basis by local residents. If you live in the local area, we’re here for you.

What we do

We act on behalf of Coney Hall Village residents. In particular we:

  • Fight undesirable planning developments
  • Work to preserve and improve our local parks and open spaces
  • Act to resolve traffic, parking and road safety issues
  • Ensure that roads and footpaths are maintained and repaired
  • Combat vandalism, litter and graffiti
  • Liaise with our Community Police
  • Work with local Councillors, the London Borough of Bromley, and others who share our interests and objectives
  • Produce a twice-yearly newsletter in the Spring and Autumn
  • Hold open meetings on topics of local interest

The residents’ association exists to make sure that Coney Hall Village keeps the atmosphere and attractions that made us all choose to settle here in the first place. We’d love you to get involved. Get in touch to tell us about events you’re planning or things you think we should know about. Or just come along to one of the meetings and say hello. Look out for the details in the next issue of the newsletter.

If you’d like to know who does what, find out who is on the committee and read a bit more about how we were formed.
