St Christopher’s Hospice are holding a Fun Walk on Sunday 12 May. There are four routes, and as the walk is not a race, you can choose the distance that suits you. Visit their site to see route maps, and get all the details, if you’d like to join in too.
To keep everyone safe and make sure things go smoothly, the following roads will be closed to through traffic 8am to 6pm:
- Commonside for its entire length
- Fishponds Road for its entire length
They’ve also said that you won’t be able to wait, load or unload vehicles on the following roads between 8am and 6pm:
- Heathfield Road between Baston Road and Westerham Road
- Baston Road between Heathfield Road and Croydon Road
- West Common Road between Heathfield Road and Croydon Road
- Baston Manor Road between West Common Road and Croydon Road
- Westerham Road, the west side between Fishponds Road and Croydon Road
